Website Terms and Conditions

This website is managed by Merton Music Foundation. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully because they form a legal document. Making A Purchase:

Browse our web pages and select any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping "basket". After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. (Full instructions on 'How To Order' can be found on our 'Shop Help' page).

All payments to Merton Music Foundation are accepted through an online payment service provider. SagePay provides a secure, encrypted gateway between this website and our bank. When you make an order your credit card details will be encrypted and sent securely using SSL - the Internet standard for secure transfers. SagePay receive transaction details directly over a 128-bit encrypted secure channel, exchanging digitally signed messages to register the transaction and notify you directly of the authorisation results. No sensitive information is sent via your browser, and because customers are directly transferred to our online payment service provider, no card details are taken or stored on this site.

Encryption and Data Storage:

Once in the SagePay systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data SagePay holds is extremely secure and is regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.

Security and Audit:

Sage Pay’s systems are scanned quarterly by Trustwave which are an independent Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) for the payment card brands. Sage pay is also audited annually under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) and is a fully approved Level 1 payment services provider, which is the highest level of compliance. SagePay are also active members of the PCI Security Standards Council (SSC) that defines card industry global regulation.
