We have implemented a range of measures to ensure the safety of our learning community including distancing, ventilation, instrument-specific mitigations, enhanced cleaning and physical/respiratory hygiene processes.

Where teaching can’t be facilitated in-person, we offer online lessons / ensembles instead.

Lessons Missed Due to COVID-19

Sometimes lessons might be disrupted if the tutor or child need to isolate as a result of COVID-19. If this happens, we will endeavour to transition lessons online wherever possible in order to minimise lost learning for pupils and to ensure consistency of income for our peripatetic teaching staff. Sometimes, it may be possible for lessons to be made-up in person at a later point in the year, but we cannot guarantee this.

Risk Assessments

In line with the latest Government guidance, as of 1st April 2022 MMF is no longer producing a COVID-specific Risk Assessment document for its activities. MMF produces activity and event specific RAs as required and continues to take appropriate measures to limit the risks of transmission of infectious diseases.
