This concert is based around music that Jane Austen would have been familiar with as part of a celebration of ‘100 Novels Which Shape Our World’. We are already rehearsing some lovely pieces including the theme music from the Pride and Prejudice film!
This is for: Combo Strings, Sting Sinfonia, Intermediate Guitars and Senior Guitars.
Arrangements:
Date: Saturday 12th March
Venue: Merton Arts Space, Wimbledon Library (performance area at the back of the library)
Rehearsal: from 4.45-5.45pm
Concert: 6-7.30pm
Dress code: MMF concert dress
