What is EchoSing?

EchoSing is a project to develop a new interactive music assessment tool for use in schools.

Merton Music Foundation is working with Sounds of Intent charity and researchers from the University of Roehampton and Anglia Ruskin University to develop a video-based series of interactive games which pupils will be invited to respond to. Computer software will then listen to the children’s singing and interpret this into the Sounds of Intent inclusive framework of musical development.

We are asking for consent for your child to take part in a trial to test how effective the software is in interpreting pupils’ musical responses.

Why are we asking for your consent?

David and Jen from MMF explain the EchoSing project.
