Help Us To Keep Moving Music Forward
Music has the power to transform young lives and with your support, we can keep the music playing for children in Merton. Our TEMPO Fund helps ensure every child has access to high-quality music education, regardless of their circumstances. But donations aren’t the only way to help – sign up to Easyfundraising, give your time as a volunteer, or explore other ways to support us. However you choose to contribute, you’ll be making a real difference to our young musicians. Thank you!

Every Child Deserves the Chance to Make Music
At MMF, we believe that every child in our community should have the opportunity to discover their first notes, grow as a musician and flourish through high-quality musical experiences. A child’s background or additional needs should never be a barrier to creativity and self-expression.
Your support makes this possible.
Whether you choose to make a one-off gift or become a regular donor through our 1991 Campaign, every contribution helps us nurture the next generation of musicians in Merton.
Join the 1991 Campaign
Named after the year MMF was founded, the 1991 Campaign invites you to become a regular supporter of the TEMPO Fund – helping to break down financial and social barriers to music-making for historically underrepresented and marginalised groups.
• £5 a month could cover the cost of instrument hire, giving a child the chance to practise at home.
• £19.91 a month could fully subsidise a weekly 30-minute lesson for a whole term – a life-changing opportunity for a young musician.
Your generosity helps us continue offering these vital programmes, reaching those who need them most. However you choose to give, you’re making a real and lasting impact on the future of music education in our community.
Thank you for helping us Move Music Forward.

Volunteering is a great way for MMF students to develop new skills by taking on responsibilities within the organisation while supporting younger players as they begin their musical journey.
Join mMF’s Parents Association – friends of merton’s young musicians
If you’re at our South Wimbledon Music Centre on a Saturday anyway, why not lend a hand at the café which is run by FMYM? It’s a great way to get involved, meet people and support our young musicians!
Thank You
