Opportunities for your pupils
There are so many ways in which your pupils can expand their musical experience through MMF, whether that’s moving from shared to individual lessons; joining one of our many ensembles (we run regular taster sessions) or learning an additional instrument.
Please do get in touch if you would like us to advise you on pathways of progression for any of your students or visit our Music Centre page.
Want to Work With Us?
We are always looking for enthusiastic and committed tutors to provide tuition for a range of instruments both in Merton schools and at our Music Centre.
If you would like to tutor with MMF please email us your CV and a covering letter and we will be in touch with any vacancies. All tutors working with us are subject to an enhanced DBS clearance, plus references.
Music Centre & Lessons Discount
MMF Tutors are entitled to claim a 50% discount on the cost of Music Centre membership for their own children. We are also now offering all MMF Tutors a 25% discount on the cost of instrumental lessons for themselves or their children starting from Summer Term 2021. Please contact us to arrange.

Rapid LFD Testing
As a first port of call, please try to collect LFD test kits from the school that has been designated to provide you with these.
If you are unable to collect LFD tests from a school, please see the options below:
– Find your nearest LFD test collection site here.
– Order tests to be delivered by post here.
– See if drop-in rapid testing is available in your area here.
MMF tutors are asked to self-test twice a week and report the results via NHS Track & Trace, it is possible your school(s) may also have their own reporting requirements. Please remember that a negative test result is not a guarantee that you are COVID-free, all other mitigations must still be adhered to at all times. A positive result should be followed up with a pre-booked PCR test.
