We’ve created a visual itinerary pack for young musicians to explore before the trip. It includes an overview of where we’ll be staying, what we’ll be doing each day, and answers to frequently asked questions.

If you would prefer a paper copy of the itinerary, you are welcome to pick one up from our Music Centre South Wimbledon.

Packing List

All luggage must be packed in a soft holdall or duffel bag. Due to space restrictions, hard cases and suitcases cannot be accommodated in the coach luggage compartment. 

Travel Documents 📃

• Passport
• UK GHIC Card
• Spending Money (mixture of cash and travel card)

Concert Clothing 🎵

• MMF Polo Shirt (long sleeved black shirt for guitarists)
• School style white shirt
• Brightly coloured t-shirt (no big logos)
• Black bottoms (trousers, skirt or shorts)
• Black shoes

Concert Equipment 🎻

• Your instrument (if applicable)
• Any extras / spares – drum sticks, strings, reeds etc.
• A foldable music stand

General Clothing 👕

• Comfortable clothing for the return coach journey
• Comfortable clothing suitable for being active in warm/hot weather (e.g. T-shirts, shorts, comfortable trousers, etc.)
• Hoodie/fleece/light jumper for cooler weather
• Lightweight waterproof jacket
• Pyjamas
• Underwear and socks
• Swimwear (if taking part in swimming or water assault course)

General footwear 👟

• Comfortable trainers/shoes
• Sandals (optional)
• Water shoes / shoes you don’t mind getting wet (if taking part in water assault course)

Toiletries 🫧

• Toothbrush & Toothpaste
• Shampoo & conditioner
• Shower gel
• Hand soap
• Deodorant

• Any other personal toiletries

Sun protection 😎

• Sunhat
• Sun cream (high SPF recommended)
• Sunglasses

• Shower towel for hostel (these are not provided)

• Chargers and cables for phones/electronic devices
• European adapter
• Extension lead (optional)

• Any additional entertainment (book, notepad, cards etc.)

Medication 💊

• Any prescribed medication (must be declared to and agreed with MMF prior to the trip).
• Any over-the-counter medication (must be declared to and agreed with MMF prior to the trip).
• Inhalers and EpiPens (if required – these should be easily accessible at all times).

Please note that any medication not declared to and agreed with MMF prior to the trip is prohibited.
