Photo Consent Statement
Photographs and/or video recordings are regularly taken of children whilst participating in Merton Music Foundation activities to use for information and promotional purposes in flyers, posters and displays as well as online on the Merton Music Foundation website and social media pages etc.
Images / video may also be shared with third parties for promotional purposes.
We will only use images that positvely reflect young people’s involvement in MMF activity and with due regard to their wellfare. Care will be taken to ensure that individual pupils’ names / personal details are not visible in any images shared. We will never exclude a pupil from an activity due to a lack of photo consent.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are seeking your permission before we can photograph or make recordings of your child. If you choose to grant consent, you may withdraw consent at any time by emailing: admin@mmf.org.uk
Wide-angle-only consent
If you do not wish for your child to be filmed / photographed close up for publicity purposes, but are happy for them to be included in wide-angle photographs / images of a group (e.g. an MMF ensemble), you can grant consent for this separately. Doing so helps us to make the best use of images of concerts, rehearsals and other events where it can be difficult to omit individual children from images.
To grant wide-angle-only consent, please contact: admin@mmf.org.uk
