Crowdfunder to support The Royal Albert Hall 2026

Help 1,500 young musicians from across The London Borough of Merton to perform at The Royal Albert Hall in March 2026 

On Tuesday 10 March 2026, Merton’s young musicians will fill the Royal Albert Hall with music as they take us on a stratospheric journey of exploration and discovery. “To Boldly Go” will bring together around 1,500 pupils from Merton Schools and Music Centres for a celebration of flight, exploration and the incredibly achievements made possible through space exploration.

To help make this opportunity available for every child, Merton Music Foundation has launched a crowdfunder and is inviting the community to support this project.

Putting on a performance of this scale is a significant financial commitment for MMF. your contribution will help us make the event inclusive, accessible and representative of the whole Merton community.

Every child deserves an opportunity like this. Help us ensure that all young people, regardless of background or circumstances, can perform on one of the world’s most iconic stages, with someone they love in the audience!
