Resonance Ensemble Showcase

Where electronic music and live performance come together.

There’s something really joyful about end-of-year concerts, and this month is jam-packed with them as we celebrate the outstanding work of our young musicians.

Our Resonance Showcase was a fantastic evening, demonstrating how our open-access, inclusive and free Resonance Ensemble brings together electronic music and live instruments to create something truly unique. Thanks to DeafRave and their Woojer haptic vests, audience members were able to not only hear the music but feel it through vibrations, creating an immersive and more accessible musical experience.

Developed in partnership with Crown Lane Studio, Resonance gives young musicians the opportunity to explore new sounds, collaborate and develop their creativity in an open and inclusive environment. Crown Lane Studio also helped set up the technical side of the showcase, enabling the audience to watch a live feed of the performance from Metronome Coffee Shop.

We’re incredibly proud of our young musicians. Seeing their confidence, creativity and musicianship grow throughout the project has been a privilege, and it was wonderful to share their achievements with family, friends and supporters.

One of the highlights of the evening was chatting to families afterwards and hearing first-hand about the positive impact Resonance is having. Their stories of growing confidence, new friendships and creative development are a powerful reminder of why projects like this really do matter.
