Families are warmly invited to attend the final 20 minutes of their child’s last rehearsal of the term, offering a chance to hear work in progress as ensembles prepare for the Royal Albert Hall concert next term.
Open Rehearsal Times
These open rehearsal sessions will take place during the final rehearsal of term for each ensemble, in the last 20 minutes, on the following dates:
- Monday ensembles: Monday 1 December
- Tuesday ensembles: Tuesday 2 December
- Merton Youth Concert Band (MYCB): Wednesday 26 November
- All other Wednesday ensembles: Wednesday 3 December
- Saturday ensembles: Saturday 6 December
Additionally, on Saturday 6 December, FMYM (Friends of Merton’s Young Musicians) will be running a Winter Fair at South Wimbledon Music Centre during Music Centre hours. Please come along to join celebrations and help raise money for our supportive parent/guardian association.
