7 December Winter Concerts

With our end of term concerts fast approaching, please see below for important information.

Concert Schedule 📆

Concert 1: 15:00-16:45 (With Interval)

Junior Percussion, Junior Concert Band, Junior Guitar Ensemble, String Busters, Jazz Jumpers, Intermediate String Ensemble, Intermediate Guitar Ensemble, Merton Mallets

Concert 2: 17:30-19:20 (With Interval)

Intermediate Concert Band, Jazz Works, Merton Messengers, MYJO, MYCB, String Sinfonia

Concert Location 📌

Both concerts take place at Harris Academy Wimbledon, SW19 2JY. Please ensure that your child arrives at the venue 20 minutes before the concert start times.

Morning Rehearsals 🎶

Ensemble rehearsals will take place at normal times on Saturday morning. However, there is a change in location for some groups.

The following groups will have their morning rehearsal at Harris Academy Wimbledon:

Junior Percussion Ensemble – 9am
Junior Concert Band – 10am
Intermediate Concert Band – 11am

Tickets & Refreshments 🎟️

Tickets will be available to buy in the morning from MMF’s Music Centre, South Wimbledon.

In the afternoon tickets and refreshments will be available to buy on the door at Harris Academy.

Ticket prices are as follows:

£6 per ticket for one concert // £10 for tickets to both concerts // £3 for under 18’s.

If you are struggling to meet the costs of concert fees, or have any questions, please contact inclusion@mmf.org.uk, or speak to a steward or member of the MMF Team when you are next at a Music Centre.

Concert Dress 👕

All ensemble members should wear their MMF polo shirt, with dark trousers/a skirt. Students are more than welcome wrap up and wear a festive jumper on top! (Santa hats are encouraged!🎅 ).

Any new members can purchase an MMF Polo Shirt from our Music Centre.
