Mayor of Merton’s Winter Warmer Concert, Jan 2023
Congratulations to our young musicians who put on a fantastic concert for the Mayor of Merton who said it was “the best concert I’ve been to during my time as Mayor.”
The programme featured performances from MYJO (Merton Youth Jazz Orchestra), JazzWorks, Jazz Jumpers, Merton Mallets and Junior Percussion Ensemble as well as students from Harris Academy Wimbledon.
A special mention to the two newest members of Jazz Jumpers, our beginner jazz band who, despite only joining the band a fortnight before, proceeded to play solos.
