MMF has enjoyed a partnership with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment for nearly 10 years. Funded by Youth Music, our project work together has been based around activity with Merton’s two Special Schools – Perseid and Cricket Green. This relationship has enabled young people from these schools to experience sustained music-making over several years and involved local primary schools to perform regularly with the orchestra – including some spectacular performances at the Royal Albert Hall!

The King Arthur project was built around the King facing up to what has happened to his kingdom by not looking after natural resources and the earth, and his realisation that we are all responsible for making change happen.
