Strictly Trombone at Holy Trinity Primary School
Interested in supporting your child to learn to play a musical instrument, but don’t know where to start?
Strictly Trombone
‘Strictly Trombone’ is a 5-week trial course where children in Year 4 and above will learn the basics in a small group lesson, led by a specialist tutor. Lessons take place at school, during the school day.
‘Strictly’ projects are subsidised by Merton Music Foundation, participants only pay a £15 participation fee which covers 5 x 45-minute group lessons and instrumental hire for half a term. At the end of the project, if your child would like to continue learning trombone at school in a 1-1 lesson, they benefit from a 25% discount on lesson fees and hire for the first term.
NB: Your child must attend Holy Trinity CofE Primary and be in Year 4, 5 or 6 to participate in this project, please keep an eye on our website for future projects in other Merton schools.
Lesson Dates
Lessons will begin after the February half-term and will take place on Thursday afternoons in the Faith Room, led by Norma Whitson (first session = Thurs 27 Feb).
