Welcome to our gallery of Merton Youth Concert Band and Merton Youth Jazz Orchestra photos from Day 11 and 12 of the 2024 Wimbledon Tennis Championships! Despite the wet weather earlier in the tournament, we were lucky to enjoy sunshine on the two days we were there.
For almost 30 years, the MMF bands have been a cherished part of the Championships. Concert Band traditionally perform on the second Thursday of the tournament while MYJO take the stage on the second Friday. It’s such an honour to be invited, and it’s always a highlight of our summer calendar. If you were there on the Friday, you may have been lucky enough to capture our special guest, the Singing Groundsman.
