Brass Ensemble studies and performs a wide range of brass chamber music. Their repertoire includes styles from the historical Renaissance era with the music of Giovanni Gabrieli to the more modern sound of Lady Gaga. As well as playing in MMF concerts this ensemble is often invited to perform at local community events. Recently whilst on tour in Belgium they played at the Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate in Ypres. The ensemble is mostly made up of high school students but talented Year 6 brass players will also be considered.
