One spring Saturday we welcomed over 80 young musicians to South Wimbledon for an afternoon workshop of music-making, designed and produced by MMF’s Youth Council. The event titled Music-Making Magic and part-funded by Sound Connections, saw singers and instrumentalists aged 7-19 come together to explore their talents, socialise and perform two massed orchestral pieces. In The Hall of The Mountain King and We Are Family were performed at an end of the day showcase concert for friends and family in aid of Dons Local Action Group.
