Summer Concert Photos

We want to give a big thanks to all the families and friends who came to support our amazing young musicians at their end-of-term concert at the weekend. We were thrilled to have Gill Manly, the Mayor of Merton, and her consort, Ann Gillespie, join us too!

It was an absolute treat to watch our Junior, Intermediate and Senior Guitar Ensembles; Junior and Intermediate Concert Bands; Merton Mallets; and Junior Percussion Ensemble showcase the stunning pieces they’ve been working on this term. Thanks to all the young musicians and band leaders who took part.

Playing in a band or ensemble can be one of the most rewarding and enjoyable things about learning an instrument.

If you know any other young musicians who haven’t hopped on the ensemble bandwagon yet, please let them know about our next Come & Play free trial sessions on Saturday 16 September. It’s a chance for them to try out our choirs, bands and ensembles and experience for themselves, that incredible feeling when you work together to bring a piece of music to life. There’s nothing quite like it!

In the meantime, we hope you enjoy browsing through these concert photos and afterwards, if you’d spare a few minutes to leave us a Google review of your child’s musical journey with MMF, we’d really appreciate it.
